Kobe is the best in the nba i want to hear some dumb reasons why people think other wise?
kobe is the best all over the newss he is the most commited to the game he can score from the inside outside mid range how many game winning shtos has he made more than i can count on 2 hands

there is one glaring and basic reason why kobe is not the best....since shaq left the lakers, that team has struggled to get past the early rounds of the playoffs and has never had the same winning ways....i dont understand why kobe lovers cant concede that one obvious fact...this game is about winning not scoring the most...how about looking at game losing shots as well?....get real folks

The best reason Kobe is NOT the best in the NBA is that the Lakers are 41-40 (tonights game is too close to call at this point). If he really were the best, they'd have a MUCH better record. Oh yeah, there's more to basketball than scoring. Ask Wilt about that. He was the best offensive player of all time but has only 2 rings.

Kobe is definitely the most talented player in the NBA, but he has to lead his team, particularly in the playoffs.
When he disappeared in GAME 7 in last years playoffs against the Suns, I questioned his desire for the first time.
He scores a lot, lots of NBA legends have done that, but only the All Time Greats shine when the lights are the brightest, that's in the playoffs.
In the regular season you make your game, in the playoffs you make your fame.

He is the best by far, but it is overshadowed by his team's weaknesses.
