i own a repair shop ,and if the battery was fully charged you should get more than that from it,and it being jumped off it should have started, the only thing that might have happened to it is the starter went out but they always give a warning before they go out,its very rare that they go out like yours did, have someone check the wires on the starter and make sure there tight if the get loose they,ll do this, and a bad ground wire will also cause it,even with a bad starter and a battery if it was jump started it should have started up,you may have to have this one took to a shop if its not the starter on it,good luck hope this helps.

Serious you shall get. The most common problem that fits your symptoms is bad contacts in the starter solenoid, which is a part of the starter. Turn on your headlights and look to see if they are good and bright, then have someone try to start the vehicle. If you hear one solid click and the lights remain bright, the starter solenoid is usually your problem. If the click is a chattering noise, it usually means low voltage at the starter and usually a battery or bad connection. If the lights are very yellow and dim, then there is a problem with the battery or a connection somewhere. Problem is the batteries are in front of the left front wheel on that model, and the cables and starter are nearly impossible to see unless you have a hoist. Sometimes if the starter solenoid contacts are not too far gone, the vehicle will turn over if you keep trying it. turn the key to start and release it about once a second for up to 50 times. If the car hasn't turned over by then, it is unlikely that it will. Advice: if the car does start, drive it to a repair shop before you shut it off, and arrange for a ride from there.

All engines need three things to run: air, fuel and spark. Since the engine is apparently (I guess) getting spark, and there's plenty of air, check the fuel. If the engine cranks but won't start, there's got to be something amiss. I would suggest you try jumping it again, and allowing your battery to charge for a few minutes (since the "clicking" under the hood is the starter); if it still doesn't start, then you've got a fuel problem - either fuel pump, quality of gas, or a fuel filter is clogged. At any rate, it's going to take some experimentation 'til you get it going. Good luck!

It is still very possible that your battery is dead. The clicking noise could mean that even when you can is being jumped the starter isn't getting enough power. You can take you battery in to have it tested for free at most autopart stores.

It's probably the starter solenoid.
Does your car have a lot of oil on the starter? If so, be sure to fix the oil leak. These solenoids frequently fail because they're being bathed in oil...high current+oil=carbon chunks in the solenoid, which will cause premature failure. Learned this the hard way on my LeBaron.

My truck did this. Try taking the battery cables off and cleaning the metal part where they are braced onto. Clean it with a wire brush that actual is perfect size for it. It may work.
It just needs cleaned from time to time because connection can be lost if theres crap there! Good luck.
Let me know if it works.

You probably have a glitch in the software for the anti theft device that is built into the cars computer,it will need to be reprogrammed at the dealer.

if it was an ignition problem, it would try to start, but wouldn't fire. same with if it was a problem with the fuel pump. If the battery is charged, then more than likely it is a starter.
