Call for an appointment ASAP, some doctors are very booked. I called one & they soonest they could have got me in to confirm was when I would have been 14 weeks! Another would have been when I was 9 weeks. So that along can take some time. Try to pinpoint when it March, that may help you. Maybe try to think it was before or after St. Patty's day, or anything eventful in March. A guess is better than nothing. They'll do an ultrasound to confirm, but that could be a few weeks down the line.

you should go now, they determine the due date by when you had your last period and then count 40 weeks from then. And if you don't know when then the ultrasound will help them determine that. you can have your ultrasound done 8 weeks into the pregnancy and later on. the first time you go they will automatically give you a pregnancy test, make sure you go to a ob instead of a regualar medical doctor just so they have more knowledge and that way the same person will deliver your baby. good luck

Your doctor can do an ultrasound - probably internally to determine your due date. If you know the first date of your last period you subtract 3 months and add 2 weeks. It definitely wouldn't hurt to make an appointment soon, you should probably be on prenatal vitamins and your doctor can go over things you should and should not do. Congratulations!

The doc should be able to determine an approximate based on the size of your embryo. It won't be an exact science as it never is (even when you know when your period came last).
You should make an appointment to confirm you are pregnant ASAP. They will most likely run the blood test and get general information and then schedule you for your first prenatal visit when about 8 weeks.
Good luck and congratulations!

You need to make that appt asap. Get on prenatal vitamins and start taking care of your pregnant self. Normally, the doctor will do an ultrasound on the first visit. More than likely, you will only have a yolk sack. It is what you see before you hit the 6 week mark. They can measure the embryo and give you an estimate. I have been given 6 different dates, so... It's just an estimate. Good luck and congrats!!!!!

Congratulations! First thing to do is to make a prenatal appointment asap. Then you will go from there. If you don't know the actual date of your last period they will just estimate until you are far along to get accurate measurements of the baby through ultrasound. Looks like a Decmeber baby though, I concieved in March and had my daughter in December. Good luck to you!

If you're not sure, the Doctor should order an ultrasound. Don't wait to go to the Doc - go as soon as you can. The US will be able to better determine how far along you are!! CONGRATS!

Call your OB tomorrow and tell them you want to confirm your pregnancy. When you go they will ask about your last period--tell them you aren't sure and they will schedule an U/S within a week or so. The U/S tech will be able to tell you your due date. Congrats!
PS--the ultrasound MIGHT have to be done transvaginally since you are very early.

Most OB doctors will not even see you until you are at least 5 weeks and they will not do the first ultrasound until you are at least 7-8 weeks. The ultrasound will tell exactly how far along you are. They count gestational age, that is weeks from your last period, not weeks from conception.
