Sure hope they think to ask him why it is that FEMA is not ready for the new hurricane season. It was just on CNN.. that FEMA is all in a fluster because they will not have everything in place.. AGAIN!... Good question to ask Bush.. of course he will just lie.. but be fun to watch him flounder.
Maybe he expects anyone effected to just go live in those thousands of rotting trailers.. they are still sitting in the mud aren't' they... sure ate up the millions of dollars that we poor fools donated to the last disaster didn't it.
Just more evidence of the incompetency of this president and government. Why am I not surprised?

I totally agree with you. What a slap in the face for them.
Bush should stop these social calls and really get down and dirty by trying to rebuild the city.
He has to at least leave behind a lasting, positive legacy when he leaves the office.
This has always been his chance; why would he ignore New Orleans for so long?
It's fool hardy, short sighted and irresponsible for this outgoing Commander-In-Chief. His obligation to the people is not over yet. He can no longer ignore them.

It would be nice if y'all make up your minds. You're trying to criticize visits, but it the President doesn't come, you'll gripe about that. This is getting so old especially from those of us who continue to support New Orleans and the wider area with dollars, time and effort in coming to your area to help with the reconstruction. Never mind, we don't help in hopes of thanks, but just because it is the right thing to do ...
