in high school hockey 3rd man in gets an auto matic game suspention, in pros, I'm not sure if they have that rule.

He got suspended 3 games.
Which means any on ice payback is going to be a year away.

Yes, the sucker punch was bad and deserved the 3 game suspension, but how come Thornton doesn't get anything for being the 3rd man into a 2-man fight and throwing the guy face-first into the ice? I don't watch alot of hockey, but I've never seen a 3rd man enter into a one-on-one situation before. Thoughts?
