I am a Christian also. My thoughts for MYSELF are that life begins at conception and I personally wouldn't have an abortion. When I was pregnant,I had a 50% chance of passing on a genetic deforming disease to my child. I had to make the decision of bringing a child into the world knowing he might have a hard life or continuing my pregnancy. I chose to continue my pregnancy,as I couldn't abort my child. My child turned out just fine. When I look at him now,I am so glad I made the right choice.
However,it is not my place,or the governments place to make that decision for another woman. Another woman might have made a different decision than I did,and that should be her choice.
While I personally think abortion is wrong,I don't feel I have the right to judge anyone that makes that decision. They are the ones that have to live with the decision they make, not me..

I feel abortion is wrong. In our culture it is sometimes used as a form of birth control, like erasing a mistake. This is morally wrong. I am married with 2 little boys now but we weren't planning the first one, not at all, but you take actions make choices and live with them. And my kids and wife are the best things to ever happen to me.
As far as the political thing goes I don't think it is the govts right to tell women what they can and can't do. However I was happy to see the Supreme Courts ruling today, I feel the time to have an abortion should be short. We can't reverse Roe v Wade because many women would unite and any group of more than 3 women can't be ignored. Further, if abortion was illegal there would be unsafe back alley abortionists and women would be leaving the country to have an abortion.

Christian or Athiest, there is NO excuse at all for killing a Child, people who call it a "fetus" are missing the point, they are "adults" but are still "human". Most anti-life people don't see the truth of what they are doing, thats why I've included this handy link down there in sources i recommend you all see. Someone out there is posting a link about pro-life being murder? Clearly ridiculous, the amount of women who die is FAR outnumbered by the 40,000,000+ lives lost in the abortion genocide. The right to have "choice"? Don't legislate Morality? Assault is illegal, rape, adult murder and theft are all illegal... thus taking the "choice" away from the criminal to do those acts, legislating morality. If you look closely the idea of womens "Choice" is a a complete Facade. Does he/she (the unborn) get a choice whether you live or die? Who has more to lose? You 9 Months, he/she their very Life... adopt them out, there are many many families dying to adopt a child who are forced to adopt foreign babies. Think carefully before you jump on the political bandwaggon to Kill.

Don't get your hopes up about a nice conversation.
Abortion for birth control is just wrong, you take that chance when you jump into bed. But if the mother is in danger from the child, then go for the abortion, you can always have more children.

Well, some abortions are cases of rape and medical life or death situations. I can understand why women have abortions here. However, 93% of abortions are for birth control purposes only, because the child is simply inconvienient. This is clearly murder. Life begins at conception, even embryologists agree with that statement. We kill over 1.3 million babies every year. This is mass murder, or genocide.

I believe abortion is a moral issue and not a government issue. That's my view.

BOTTOM LINE
Your God is not my God so your morals and rules do not apply to me.
If you don't want an abortion don't get one but you have no right to tell someone else what to do. This is not up for debate there is no justification for forcing your morality on someone else.
(not you personaly but religious fanatics)

Use logic. Your "god" (AKA nature) tosses out 50% (that's 1/2!) of all the fertilized eggs in the first place. If these embryos were so important to "him", he would have designed the female form different so that wouldn't occur, right?
Think.

It is a decision that should only be between a woman and her doctor. The government should keep their hands off our bodies.
