sure- can believe they are occurring - have long time been told and foretold in the Scriptures
nothing takes God by surprise
Prayer is an honor and brings me closer to the Father as I express the needs of another ..... He is right where He has always been - waiting with outstreched arms for ALL of us

The way I see it, prayer is the adult version of clutching a teddy bear when you're scared of the dark. It's something to hold onto and trust. As long as you have that teddy bear, you're not alone. Prayer is a comfort for millions of people. Wheather or not something is answering those prayers aren't important. The idea that someone is listening to you and loves you when you feel alone helps.

Gets worse all the time. I think praying helps. We need God's help to get through difficult times.

It depends on who they pray to or whatever. Because God & Jesus Christ aren't real.
