Let me tell you a little story. It'll be quick as I have to go to work soon.
I met my soon to be wife volunteering. When I signed up, she wasn't there and I was introduced to those I'd be working with. Since she wasn't there, I was told who she is, what she does and all about her amazing way of working. I thought to myself this is a person I want to meet. It would be four months before I did meet her. All this time, my image of her was getting more and more empowering. I was very curios as to what this girl looks like. I already had a crush on her without ever seeing her. When the day of days did arrive, and we did meet, I couldn't believe how beautiful she was and took me two weeks to build up the courage to talk to her. It took me another few months to get the courage up to ask her out. That was over two years ago now. Today, we own a house together, am engaged and can't wait to get married and start a family.
Goes to show how important personality really is.

Not really. It's more of a yearning – but not necessarily for that person. Everybody likes to feel understood; and this person is obviously saying things that you like to hear – so you like to imagine that you’re connecting with him or her somehow. It sounds like this person is probably confirming your own thoughts, and that makes you feel good inside. That makes you want to spend more time with them, so they can keep on making you feel nice. It's fantasy.
You cannot have real desire for somebody unless you have physically met them – after all, who knows what they’re like in real life? People on-line only tell you the things they want you to know – everybody likes to sound great. Unfortunately you’re unable to pick up on the vital things that might make attraction impossible – for example: their breath might stink, they could have dirty fingernails, have a really hairy back, or maybe they like to shower less than once a month… would you still have desire for somebody after all that? I’m guessing probably not. (Sorry if that offends anybody. lol)
False advertising happens a lot on-line, it's good to be cautious. :-)

Yes. I fell for someone I had never seen, only spoken to on the telephone. It's great!

Yes it is possible. Attraction takes many forms. Communicating electronically is just one of them.

Sure. And don't listen to anyone who tells you differently. It's not about how someone looks, it's about what they say and the intention they put into their words.
