Yes, so at 3 a.m. I saranwrapped the toilet bowl, put the seat down and smiled as I went back to bed. It never happened again.

Yes my significant other is always forgetting to put down the toliet seat and I almost fell in the toliet lots of times. Yes, I really do hate that when that happens but I've never smacked him in the head. You just may have given me an idea. :o)

No guess I am lucky. I live with 3 males and my cousins are always in and out but they are smart enough to put the seat back down. Only had that problem for a few months when potty training my son and within a few weeks he started putting the seat down.....around 2 1/2

Many times that has happened to me. It really sucks being in a house with 3 brothers. And I've always gone and smacked one of the older ones...but never the younger one. He's too young to know not to do that

OK ...... I have this conversation regularly with co-workers, friends, family, etc. I grew up with 3 older brothers. I learned to look EVERY time before I sat down. Honestly, I don't have a problem with putting the seat down. I have a big problem with guys not putting the seat up before they urinate, because I don't want to sit on the inevitable drops or have to wipe them off before I sit. Soooooooo, I would really rather have to put the seat down than the alternative!

the lavatory bowl is fairly chilly, and once you're a real gentleman you will pull it down as a results of fact it is not severe high quality to seat on a rest room seat with urine stains, which could worsen the floor. we don't choose the chilly lavatory bowl experience.

no actually the opposite. my man (honest to God) lowers all the lids and in the middle of the night when I have to go I sit on a closed toilet. So i can't smack him for that, I have to bless him for not having the alternative happen to me.

Yes and have actually sat on it for the light was out and he hates it when I wake him like that. He stopped doing it after that but I wonder if his new g/f is doing the same.
