You're 14 and a boy and hasn't acquired a taste for fantasy (yet).. lemme see...
I would suggest that you read the following books:
1. Black Swan Green by David Mitchell - it's about one boy's growing pains and it covers 13 months between 13 -14 years old. I think you might relate to a lot of things here. And it's not for sissies as well.
2. The Client by John Grisham -- what would you do if at your young age (the boy here was 12 y/o) you witnessed a murder and was made a state witness? Don't let the lawyer-talk hinder you from opening the book. It's got excitement, action, suspense... the works...
3. This Boy's Life -- another book which shows how a young boy tries to survive the travesties of life growing up in America.
4. Complete Stories of Sherlock Holmes by Arthur Conan Doyle -- everything here is suspense-filled and action-packed. Can't imagine you wanting anything else, dear Watson.
5. The Bourne Identity and Bourne Supremacy by Robert Ludlum -- liked the movie? Try the book...
I hope you find some of these books and it'll make for some happy reading ome school break. ;p
Good luck!

I nearly wonder whether your speakme approximately me. But thats adequate ever heard potential is vigor? Well the books I inform humans approximately supply humans extra knowledge of what their associate demands and alot of the time in the event that they just do their facet they're going to get the response they desire from there partner ( rationale and outcome) And in your know-how I wouldnt simply identify off a random booklet or books if I didnt truly suppose in there abilities to support humans upgrade their marriage. And I realize for a reality the books paintings due to the fact that they absolutely have helped my marriage and the marriages of humans i in my view realize who've learn them. So do not be pissed off while humans ask for my recommendation and I supply them the fine recommendation I can although that recommendation is to learn a booklet that I realize can support.

Who are some of the people you admire? Autobiographies to me are interesting. It's really amazing to me how people make their way in life--there must be some autobiographies on some of the "hero's" of the action and fighting you enjoy reading about. That may be a start-I don't know of any off hand-just trying to give you some ideas.

Patricia Cornwell is my FAVORITE author. Her books are awesome, they're based upon a medical examiner and many cases and her personal life. Post Mortom is a good one to start with.... If you're not a big fan of female characters, understandable, pick up something by Jonathon Kellerman, I've enjoyed many of his books. They should keep your interest well and teach you a few things as well. It's nice to see someone looking for a good book instead of a good movie these days :)

"All Quiet on the Western Front" by Erich Remarque
It's a story about the lost generation that was sent to fight in the trenches during WW1. It's a great story about comradery and there's plenty of action.
