I agree with you 100%. It probably has to do with cost--doesn't everything?

Well, I think they're getting rid of glass bottles because glass is harder to decompose and it's a big thing right now to minimize garbage. And to make a glass bottle, it's really expensive. But I totally agree with you they should just forget about the cost and stuff and let us have our soda in a bottle!

I agree. I treat myself at Xmas time to a 6 pack of bottled cokes! I believe Alumminum is cheaper and easier to manipulate, not to mention more durable tahn the glass bottles. Same goes for plastic.
But NOTHING taste as good as a Coke straight out of a glass bottle!

they are getting rid of glass bottles because of global warming they try to get people to recycle and if the bottles get smashed then you can't recycle it Any more and plastic bottles are much more durable and they don't smash as easily as glass if they don't recycle stuff the earth will come to an end but i totally agree that it taste better in a glass bottle

There is a brand of soda called "Stewarts" in the locale I live that is great. It just seems to fit and taste better in a bottle. Especially the Key Lime Soda.

I agree. What I wouldn't give for an ice cold Mountain Dew in a glass bottle with the hillbilly on it.
