It is really hot May to September
Traffic is unbelievable, make sure you live close to your work.
It is really expensive, the job offer should really worth it.

Otherwise, it is a great city, I enjoy living here very much, it is very safe, women are free to wear whatever they want, great malls, beaches, food, people..........everything

Well.... lets c... Malays in Dubai... not many

But, you can always contact the Dubai Malaysian Society
It’s not hard; you can find lots of Asians which can help you in building a great sense of lifestyle & enjoy the living in Dubai.

For the ladies: social club, kitty parties & various events is on the Buzz in Dubai, you won’t feel alone, because there's so much happening these days that your gonna love it, its a very good place for kids, as the Summer festival is coming soon this summer... its lots of fun for the little ones :)

The cost of living for your family:

2 bedroom apartment - 2000 USD
Weekly groceries - 150-250 USD
Laundry (monthly) - 50-70 USD
Toiletries & Body products-
Pretty cheap than U.S. & UK (due to tax-free country)

Transport- Now transport is the biggest problem in UAE, Mainly in Dubai... there are buses but only for very low class people, which i think you wont find it comfortable traveling in even though the buses are brand new, but still people don’t prefer traveling in them, instead they go by Taxi, which on daily basis can be very expensive... or else you gotta rent a car starting from 600 USD per month.

Dubai is a nice place to live in & pretty safe. It’s the safest city in the Middle East, Asia & Africa.

Don't forget the new Dubailand theme park complex under construction which will be the largest amusement resort in the world twice the size of Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida.

its very expensive. really expensive. you gotto have a good income to be able to live in dubai with family. the main expenses will be of the apartment besides children education apart from these clothing and food is moderate. if you both are working parents then ur children will be left alone in the risky hands nanny(if u plan to have one). the weather is quite hot.
