I want the truth. I don't want the truth censored for my protection or to avoid hurting people's feelings.

Personally I have no problem with it.

Whats scarier for you? The fact that so many people are dead? or a picture on your computer screen miles away and days later?

*** Imagine 1000's of friends and family seeing images of 9/11 for the next 6 years. I'm sure it is painful for them to view and think about. But would you rather that the images of 9/11 never have been shown to the public to protect the feelings of the victims families? of course not. The news is not for entertainment, often it will shock and scare you; its a very powerful tool of Democracy... thats why its the 1st amendment. The news has a RESPONSABILITY to show you the facts, uncensored. Because as a responsible citizen, you should know in as much detail as possible to take part in the democratic process that makes our country great.

The more we censor what the public can see and hear, the more we remove the public from the government... we will become blind sheep.

If this is too serious for you, go watch American Idol.

That is truly disturbing. I can only imagine that they'll be getting quite a bit of critical response regarding that decision. However, as a former journalist myself, I know that even criticism means that someone is watching and looking. We've all heard the old addage, "Any publicity is good publicity." If it's getting them hits, and you can bet it is, they'll continue with this type of thing.

Do you work for CNN? If not, they got you to spam their website in a different forum, and get more hits on their site. That's all they care about. You're just a tool for them.

well than dont go there.
I personally like to see the 'evidense' if you will.

and i doubt that many survivors are going to there. They dont need a news report on it.... they lived it. they know it would be hard to see that. any of that would be hard for them to see.
