Republican scandals are at an average of 4-10 new scandals every month. Heres the recent one.

The World Bank is reeling from a controversy over leaked documents that show Wolfowitz played a role in dictating the terms of a high-paying promotion for his companion and bank employee Shaha Riza, before she was moved by the bank in 2005 to the State Department because of their relationship.

WHEN DOES THIS STOP ? Why is the republican party allowed to participate in politics when there are numerous scandals every week in their party?

Let's send all the Republicans to Iraq. John McCain said it was safe.

The easiest thing is to simply compare them to the democrat scandals and any rational person will see that the Republican "scandals" are non-existent. For example - Bill Clinton, our impeached ex-president, fired **all** of the U.S. attorneys. President Bush fired a hand full. No comparison, scandal-wise! A Democrat congressman was found to have $90,000 of bribe money ion his freezer. Democrats are jetting (increasing global warming) all around the world taking payoffs from lobbyists. The list goes on and on. This is why I'm an independent.

Simply shouting SCANDAL(!!!) doesn't make it true.

It stops even as the dems take the white domicile and that is even as their scandals start up back or have you ever already forgotten what they did contained in the decade of the ninety's? Democrats are in basic terms as corrupt as republicans and also you're corrupt also as are all human beings (He who's without sin forged the first stone, strike a chord to you).

Funny, sad really. You are probably too young to remember, but in my lifetime, there have been the Kennedy's, with Marilyn, the Mafia, Jimmy Hoffa, Chapaquidick, the Bay of Pigs... Oooh, now that's a ripe and timely subject. That is, if you are into celebrating out and out murder. It's the anniversary of the BoP Invasion. Powers was shot down, spying over Russia -- greatly embarrassed Kennedy, convinced him that the invasion was not a good idea. So, he along with his brother Bobby -- the Attorney General (talk about cronysm at its finest) and SecDef McNamara got together and instead of calling off said invasion, cut the supply/reinforcements -- but still let them launch. Can you say 2510 men in four days? Damn, Bush didn't even do that! He could have just as easily cancelled the whole operation, but instead, let them launch and cancelled their support. Hmm...
And how about LBJ? You thought ol' Billy boy was a womanizer? Ha! Meer child's play. He escalated American involvement in Vietnam -- and both he and McNamara openly knew that we were not going to win. How many young men had to die?
Shall we talk about Carter? Or, how about Clinton?
Here's the bottom line. Your sense of what's right, just and honorable is completely bankrupt. you shouldn't get all worked up over the little things and instead, should try staying focused on the bigger picture. Al Gore tried deseparately to steal an election and you, YOU blame Bush! People who live in glass houses should not throw stones. As for America, it's a capitalist society, stop trying to pervert and convert it nto a socialist communism. Most of us like the possibility of priviledge. And no, we're not all as perfect as you. But then, you are obviously not keeping score.

The problem is not the Republican party because if that were the case the Democrats would never hold office! It is a personal problem with the elected official. The Republican party as a whole are not that good at cover ups. Maybe if they hung out more with Democrats they could learn something.

Yeah what Doc said!
And let's not forget that one of our presidential candidates has already been involved in or connected to several scandals:
Whitewater
Travelgate
Paula Jones
Monica Lewinski
and the capper - the alleged "suicide" of Vince Foster.

It wasn't the Republican Party, it was Wolfowitz. No one really cares about him or the World Bank, he was sent there as an honorable way out of his failures anyway.

where you find a human is where you can find scandal, regardless of the party hat worn .....
regardless of your personal stand - we should all be standing shoulder to shoulder in support of those willing to serve and protect and giving us our continued right to have an opinion .... whether you agree with the war or not - they went and are still going for ALL of us

if half as much time was spent on working together as it was on which group is right, much could be resolved for ALL of us - worldwide
