how do you become Supervisor of elections in your county?

Supervisors of elections are appointed by the President but must be qualified according to the provisions of the Constitution.

~In my county, you pay $500 to the neocon county supervisor, unless someone else wants the job in which case you submit a sealed 'bid' (25% of which is non-refundable if you are not the highest bidder.) It's worth every penny too, come time for the dividends on election day. It's just the way we do things here in Utah.

In my county it is located in the County Clerks office and you have to apply for it because it is a union position here. Check with your County Clerk;s office and see if there is a position open.
