You all know the one I'm talking about, the one that starts "hush little baby, don't say a word, momma's gonna buy you a mocking bird"... I sing it all the time to my son, but I end up making up verses. He laughs when I do, but for my peace of mind, I need to know the actual lyrics.

Mandee has the correct lyrics. I always add a twist when I sing it to my daughter. At the end I see "you'll still be the sweetest little Victoria in town." She gets a kick out of her name being in the song. Perhaps your child would like it too.
