You should get over it. Pleasing ones partner is something that you should want to do. After all it's not an unreasonable request. If you don't, maybe someone else will.
Taking a shower with your partner is a great way to have fun, only a sad person would pass that up.

So tell him... I don't like to take showers with you.. Is not like you guys are going to make a big deal about it.. Just tell him you feel more comfortable showering by your self now if he enjoys taking showers with you.. It wouldn't hurt if every now and then you hop in the shower just to please him darn is not going to kill you or nothing compromise with your man..

Well talk with him and describe that you don't like it and say why. You need to understand he also has an opinion. And he may feel offended and rejected. So try and to do things he will enjoy that you like
