anybody know of any fun places and tourist attractions in memphis, tennessee? thanks!

I live in memphis. We have Graceland, Ive never been, there is the Sun Record Studio. Mud Island river park and museum is good, Pink Palace planetarium/museum/IMAX is great, Beale Street, National civil rights museum. Go to www.memphismuseums.org There are parks, lakes, river boat rides, beautiful hotels downtown, Great places to eat. Memphis in May is one big month long party startin off with the Beale Street music Festival. GO to www.rock103.com and click on concert info for the bands that will be playing. Memphis in May also has the BBQ festival. So much to see and do here. Email me for more info if you like.
yeah I forgot about the cooper young area. Eat at Celtic Crossing great traditional Irish food. They serve a great sunday brunch. In june like the 8th or 9th the memphis botanic gardens kicks off their concert series with the group Chicago. Pack a picnic lunch a bottle of wine or two bring a blanket and sit our on the lawn and listen to the music.

Well of course there is Elvis' mansion Graceland. Oh yeah you said Fun You must go downtown to Beale Street: ther are many clubs and live bands (blues, country, rock) and some of the best food you could want to eat. It is defiently touristy. I would also suggest the Coooper Young District (midtowners). There is Fed Ex Forum where the Memphis Grizzlies play, the RedBird stadium for triple A Baseball both of those are in walking district to Beale. There is also the Stax Museum, Gibson Guitar Factory, Civil Rights Mueseum( formely the Lorrain Motel where Dr. King was killed. There is the Children's Museum of Memphis, a monarail will take you to Mud Island to the River Museum. There is much to do in Memphis. I would suggest that you look on our cities web site. You will find plenty to do here.

The Zoo, Krystals (love those burgers), pink Palace Museum, The Peabody... All i'm able to think of of actual now. eating places: The Rendezvous, Interstate BBQ, Krystals (sorry, love those little burgers).
