I really don't care why he did it. He was wrong. In my eyes he did it simply because he was a weak coward who blamed others for his shortcomings. I am disgusted by NBC for airing his rants.

How do you feel about this?

I 100% agree with you. He was a an egotistical, selfish, self-pitying, immature, emotionally and intellectually challenged, over-the-top dramatic wuss, with no real life problem solving skills, who deserved every bit of misery that he suffered prior to this incident.
One thing he was not, though. He was not crazy. A disgusting crime like this is never a compulsion, it is a decision. Decisions are always based on some sort of rationalization. His rationalization was based on self-ascribed victim-hood and class-jealousy.

His stupid whining and pretentious images should not be presented as some result of a poor kid under pressure. This dumb-*** kid and his actions should not be glorified nor demonized. Because in our culture today, when we demonize something, it is equivalent to giving it an aura of villainous heroism. He should be understood as what he really was.

The news seems to always air bad things.
It is like rubber necking to see a car accident.

I don't think the media is to blame for what happens.
I do think people have to much free time on their hands and can witness what happens in other parts of the world.
They fail to do anything in there part of the world.
Yeah, I do it too.

P.S. Somebody created "The Good news" at one time. I wonder how that is doing? I don't think people are apt to watch it. That is the reason we like sports and fights.

no one is worried whilst the Media relentlessly hounds celebrities as a results of fact we've an actual to comprehend. Or whilst the paparazzi, rather killed Princess Diane. they do no longer record on the tragedies that are going on in Africa, as a results of fact it would not make human beings song in or purchase papers. Did you care then? The media responds to what human beings desire to verify or hear, it truly is there activity. they do no longer care if it drastically impacts someones existence, on account that's what YOU the viewer desires to comprehend!! that's humorous how whilst it without put off outcomes your existence that without warning you comprehend the wear, humiliation, or degradation the media would reason. of course they must make an apology despite the fact that it truly is a meaningless apology till the subsequent tragedy strikes.

This is a question that is too dangerous for a freedom of speech' Americans to answer honestly. I will give you a hint though,my two relatives died at pear harbor and two more died in the Korean war along with a childhood friend. It is a shame and disgrace that me and many others Americans are silenced by a politically correct general public

As long as there is a demand for this kind of thing, the media will provide it to us. If no one was intersted in seeing it, NBC wouldn't be airing it.

It is wrong in the sense that you don't want to give somebody like that the notoriety they sought.
On the other hand, I didn't expect them to do anything else. This is the news business after all and this story is burning hot. No news director would tell you not to run it.

I actually prefer hearing and seeing the pics and video.
I don't really know why, but I do.

Just as long as they dont air the extremely graphic partsof the videos. And the stations i watch, editied out those parts.

I dont mind the pics at all though. I have pics of myself with guns, that are very similar to his. The only thing that makes them eiree, is that we now know what he was planning to do with his guns. But the pics, in and of themselves, arent that bad.

I've seen photographs on CNN and it's eerie...I myself don't care to see it. It's like rubbing salt into your wounds.

But I guess nothing in this world is kept private anymore...people have a thirst to know it all and I guess the growing media can fulfill that need.

I thought about how horrible it must be to be a victims family member and view those images and that video. Disgust...that's probably at least one of the prominent feelings they got.

Even though we now "understand" him more, I kinda wish that stuff never surfaced...
