how do I know which graphic card are good. Is it the memory on the graphic card like 512mb or 256mb or the refresh rate. Right now I'm looking at this graphic card, can someone tell me if it is good.

That is a good, not top of the line, but good card. I dont know what you are using right now so I cant tell you what kind of a performance boost you will get out of it.

How much memory do you have in your system? I would suggest also maxing that out, what ever your motherboard will support, to get the best performance.

Also look at the speed of your hard drive. Get a 7200RPM drive or if you use a SCSI get a 10000RPM drive. That will give you a speed boost also.....

The x1300 card is a good "Budget Card". It also consumes minimal power, so, your current power supply may still be able to cope with it.

If you want better gaming experience, go for the mainstream cards (higher core clock, 12 or more pixel pipelines, ddr3 mems) even w/ only 256Mb. You could consider the X1650 XT or the X1950 Pro from ATI. The Nvidia 7600GT or the 7900GS are also good.

Also take note that the more powerful cards draw more power such that a bigger power supply may be required.

i might advise getting out of the 9 sequence. on a similar time as good playing cards, they're old with the GTX sequence. i might say the GTX 260. I even have the GTS 250 and its a great card, even nevertheless there is room for progression. i might for my area on no account get an ATI card lower back after the completed and utter failure of the driving force. The playing cards seem to lack compatibility with almost each and everything.

First thing you have to determine is the slot type is it AGP or PCI-Express or the older PCI? Then do some research. Some good links to articles on which card to purchase can be found here:

Do your research and when you are able to decide what card you want go shopping:

that card is great...

it will speed 3d graphics. 2D graphics are accelerated a little but the card is for 3D Direct 3D graphics... OpenGL also work but it is not optimized for that...

Video editing is memory and hard disk intensive...internet speed depends on your ISP....
