the VT shootings are a national tradgedy yet some of you want to use it to make a political point about libs or cons.....this was not politically motivated this was madness at its worst it does not matter what political view this sick young man subscribed to. when you try to use these young peoples deaths to make a political point its like rubbing salt into their wounds and the wounds of our nation........

Disgusting isn't it? The right is trying to politicize this like never before. Accusing liberals of everything under the sun they can remotely link it to. Sad day for us all when people act like that.

I agree with you 100%....and we both know that's rare. This is a national tragedy and should not be politicized at all.

God bless VT and the families of the victims.

Wow - look how many people replied, politicizing the issue. Sad.

THANK YOU!!
Unfortunately, people will use his hate to accuse others. I saw a question, something like "Do you think the libs shot all those people at VT so they could take away our guns?"
Apparently, some are no more sensitive than Cho Seung-Hui.
It's sickening.

His motives were fed by a shameless political view that spills over into many young Americans lives in very dangerous ways. Yes he was a sick man. If it is a national tragedy, and it is, politics is only one part of this story. If you want to find other topics that relate, try the mental health board, religion, education, immigration and many others. Put your big boy pants on.

The politicization of this tragedy is indeed sickening. The Really sad thing is this is going to get much worse as we get closer to the 08' elections. This will be the dirtiest, meanest most partisan election ever. I'm already sick of it.

Everyone dies ok get over it. The valid point people are trying to make is that if all civilian gun use was abolished would there have been more or less of a chance of those students dying. Anyone with half a brain knows that no guns and a mandatory 10 year jail sentence for anyone caught with a firearm means a lot less gun crime. OK. Try and argue you way out of that one you sheep.

Is there anyone foolish enough out there to try and tell me I am wrong about my above statement on abolishing guns and mandatory sentences for criminals that use them? Or are you fools just going to keep harping on about "politicizing". The only argument you have is that word that does not belong to me as I have never been associated with any political party as I think that they are all scum. I think about what is best for all people. Not just myself. Politicizing, politicizing, politicizing. Have any of you sheep actually sat back and listen to yourselves for one minute. Like bloody bunch of retarded lemmings. Yes give yourselves a clap on the back.

if there had been a gun in the hand of the professor who gave his life to save some of his students there would have been less deaths and less for you to talk about

Leave it to the miscreants and morons to use VT as a platform for their idiocy. I could see this coming a mile away.

They don't care. For all their pontificating about "Christian morals," they just use any issue as a backboard for their stereotypical slurs.

But yes, this latest tide of garbage is in particularly bad taste.

Always remember where we are, bud.

Did you expect any less from the usual suspects?

They never seem to disappoint with their insensitive slurs...

I must disagree. The one big effect it will have is on the gun control issue again. In my opinion, no matter what side of the issue you stand, putting more guns into the population is not the answer to the problem. Will we all feel safer when everyone in America is armed?

I know! It's sad. I have refrained from politicizing this event. There's plenty of time to debate "whatever" in the future. At least let them bury these poor kids before you go off on political rants about gun issues.
