So, in English class, we're starting to read Shakespeare's work and in a series of questions that my teacher assigned, one of them is "How are Shakespeare and Mosh pits similar?"

I think they're two completely different things, but if anyone could help out, that'd be great (=

I think it's pretty tenuous too, but...

They illustrate the power of group conformity to shape an individual's actions (Romeo & Juliet).
They illustrate the layer of irrationality, passion and anger beneath the human surface (Macbeth, Othello, King Lear).
They illustrate the need to belong and have a well-defined identity in relation to the world around you.

i've got been to 3 stay shows, yet in no way interior the middle of a mosh pit. i'm too skinny and fragile, i could get heavily injured.
