a little then swimming around then shimmying again. Everybody else seems fine. I have 1 angelfish, 3 Mickey Mouse Platys, 3 rosy barbs, a rainbow fish, 4 tetras, 2 dwarf gouramis. Will they be ok?

Probably nothing at all to worry about. The water might have been a bit cool, sometimes they shimmy for that reason. The shimmy should stop within a few hours.

Most likely the Platy is having trouble adapting to the water change, some fish can get stressed and say stressed for up to about 10-to-12 hours, some times it takes an hour or 2. If you think you must add aquarium salt so the fish makes a stress coat to calm itself. It may be a disease that got to your fish without anything having to do with the water change and the disease(if it is a disease) may have started to show effect right after you made the water change. More info would surely help: How many gallons is tank? Has there ever been a disease in the tank before? Has there ever been a water change with that fish?(if so tell how it reacted)

So, i'm pretty sure that they are OK, still, be careful.

Best of Luck,

What kind of water do you have?If its tap,you might want to treat it or if its hard water yeah.Their pH might be off, that or they're just adjusting.Either of which still take caution in treating the water.Best of luck to you though lol they sound like awesome fish :P

Was it a big water change? Did you disturb any substrate? I wouldn't worry too much.
