That they are telling everybody where Cho's parents can be found, have pictures of him up(frankly a bit morbid), and are saying that this all wont end up with prejudice reactions?

I mean look, they didn't have to go so far as to say oh his parents live and work in blah blah. I dont think the public has a right to know where his parents or any of his family lives or works. It's just rediculous to assume that some other emotional crazy isn't going to just start blasting away everyone who looks asian that works at a cleaners around there.
Sure we would all be curious about what the pictures contained but telling us what was in them is just as effective. They just cant let us grieve and then put it in the past peacefully can they? I know for a fact that this is just going to create more intolerance.

Yes, it seems very insensitive. After all, these parents just lost a son, the same as the other parents whose children were killed. And I am certain that his parents will live for the rest of their life with the burden of knowing their son's actions and wondering if there was a way they could have reached out and helped him before this point. I don't know anything about them or about this boy's childhood, but if they're decent people, they may even be experiencing a deeper grief than the other families - since after all, not only are they dealing with the loss of their own child, but probably somewhat blaming themselves for the other murders he committed. I hope people will keep this in mind in the upcoming days and keep this family in their thoughts and prayers, as well...

Again because of so much freedom in america
and freedom of speech and the press anyone can
say what they want because they are free to do so.
Until america comes to terms that adjustments to
our freedom needs to be made it will forever and
ever have problems with people. Watching CNN
and I live in Panama, is sickening because they
act as if they are the press, policemen, prosecu-
tors and lawyers, instead of just sticking to the
news. So again too much freedom in america and
because of change in people in the 21st century
change in freedom laws also need to change.

I agree, let the situation calm down already. His parents are probably just in as much shock as everybody else is about this whole thing. One news article said they were both hospitalized in shock. I don't know if it's true or not.

i agree with you 100%

His family will be going through alot as well... It is very difficuilt to live with someone that has mental health issues. And they would be feeling extremely guilty for the rest of their lives! Afterall they didnt do this...

I agree. The media jumps on something and nothing is sacred. I haven't heard, but I can only imagine how his family feels-not only did their son kill 32 people, but they also lost their son.

I agree with you. I don't want to know where they live and all that but I would like to know what's going on with them.

Where his parents live and work is public information, so it wouldn't be hard to find out. It's called news.
