It's not just extreme Islam, it's extreme anything. We have the Nazi party, we have the KKK, we have the Basque sepratists, we have th Tamil Tigers, Crazy Psycho People With Guns, Timothy McVeigh, etc. etc. .
However, on a daily basis you are far more likely to die slipping and falling in your bath tub than die in a terrorist attack.
And you are thousands of times more likely to die in a car wreck.
Compared to how many people die everyday from smoking, heart disease, cancer, and malnutrition, terrorists really don't seem all that...well....terrifying.
But getting back to the point, all extremists are a threat. That's why they're called extremists. Whether it's the Unibomber hiding in a shack in the woods in Montana or the suicide bomber driving a car bomb into a crowded market in Iraq, it makes no difference.

A lot of people live in self denial of how dangerous these radical Islamic people are. They have been raised from small children for the simple purpose of killing all Infidels. Anyone that says they are brave people are just plain nuts.
They kill little children and families of their own and hide most of the time and sneak around. This is not typical of a brave person at all. Common sense has been brainwashed completely out of their minds. The people that hate America but live here needs to move.

There are extremists in every group.
Believe it or not there are dangerous extremist christians(maybe you've heard of the KKK), i know that breaks your heart, but its true. It's terrible. I myself am christian. I am tolerant however.
The world needs tolerance, not forced opinions and prejudices like those who believe all Islam is extreme or dangerous. There are Muslims who are good people, just as there are good christians, jews, budhists, etc.

Do you honestly believe that by asking questions like this you are not helping matters at all when you are merely slandering other people who don't conform to your country's ideals?
If you truely want people to stop fighting and start understanding one another, try learning tolerance instead of leaping to conclusions and believing the first things you read and hear.
It is people like you who are the most threat to society today, not extreme Islamic nations.

Extremist Islam is a threat, as is extremist Christianity - though admittedly extremist Christians are far more likely to target abortion doctors than 'innocent' civlians. Normal Islam itself is not a threat any more than Christianity is.

There is a difference between radical Islam and just Islam.
I have yet to see any moderate Muslim denounce the radicals. But then again, I'd be scared of being beheaded.
