In the wild they fight only to defend territory. You are creating an artificial situation to abuse that instinct and that's nothing but animal cruelty. Yes, in my opinion the deliberate and needless killing of animals qualifies as evil.

Is chicken fighting right? Is dog fighting right? The answer is no, they're both illegal and immoral. Breeding fish in a tank that is quite likely FAR too small for them is bad enough, but allowing them to kill each other over territory is even worse.
You should be reported for animal abuse.

It is not necessarily their nature to fight. It is their nature to defend a territory. In the wild, these fish would co-exsist in the same slow moving water (like a creek or a pond). Each male would stake a claim on a little area of that body of water. this is where they would mate with an interested female, build a bubble nest at the surface of the water, and raise the young.
However, in an UN-NATURAL environment (i.e. a fish tank), there is not enough territory for any one fish to defend, and there is also not nearly enough space for the males to get away from eachother. Therefore, it is highly unfair, and very un-natural to do what you are suggesting. We are talking about two very different scenarios and environments.

I think it is cruel to just sit and watch something like that . If you would ask the pet store or where ever you get your fish if they should be in the same tank they would probablywould tell you no. they are aggresive fish they cannot be in the same tank with one another. So yes i would say not to but them in the same tank together because you know that they would kill each and that they are fighting fish. And i think that it is mean to sit and watch something so cruel.

No, that is not natural at all. In nature, they could go find their own ponds, and would not necessarily fight. In your case you are forcing them to share a pond. So you are screwing with nature, and you are also pretty dimwitted to think this is natural.

It may be in their nature, but that is not their natural environment. Breeding an animal so that it may die is cruel, immature, and wrong. Creating a life just to destroy it is senseless.

its not evil but its not very natural either. In addition in nature they naturally are given a chance to flee and arent stuck in a tank.
