All you do is determine if the askers bent is liberal or conservative, then you pounce, like kittens on catnip.
I haven't read a good answer on here in three days.
so I posted a few questions, that have no basis whatsoever, and guess what? I got lots of answers.
Me, i ignore questions that are obviously garbage. But the idiots here love name calling don't ya?????

You are just beginning to appreciate the garbage that is here. Some of the questions are so stupid that I can't even find a good catagory for them. For some questions I will answer liberally and for some I will go conservative. Sometimes it is fun playing with the minds behind some of the questions.
There are a number of them that I feel are real and the people are really asking for help, for them I answer honestly, if I can.
There are also a number of scammers trying to make money off of these work at home and data entry sights along with a few loan sharks.
Life is too short to believe that your answers here are going to make ant difference in life, but it sure is a good tension outlet.

Ah me. You are so right. I am getting to a point whereby I no longer open Yahoo "answers" on a regular basis. A total waste of time and the only reason that I am on it now is because I can't sleep and need some diversification. But I must admit that among the people who answer these questions several are very intelligent and know their stuff. I will always spend time reading their replies.

There are a select few who actually give decent answers to questions. The problem is, most people invite idiots to give the responses that you listed by posting a biased question in the first place. You can't expect us to answer "Why do liberals /conservatives /republicans /democrats suck?" without any political bias.

This place is a textual mud wrestling pit, with many participants in it just for the "entertainment." They have no intention of trying to post something mature and thought provoking; it's all about slurs and stereotypes. You have to wonder how representative this place is of America on the whole.
But credibility? Yes. It's here. Well...maybe not in the Politics category specifically, but in other categories that aren't so "flammable."
I guess "caveat emptor" applies to all things, and you have to be able to pick your way through the junk to find the gems.
