I was talking to a Police officer a few days ago and he said that in 30 years of police work he has never heard of a man being raped by a woman. Is this true? Is this an urban legend kind of thing?

it happens. men under report it out of shame and other factors. also a lot of police districts don't take it seriously and refuse to accept that it happens.

you're probably going to get a lot of stupid responses that seem to say that men can't be raped by women because they always want sex, or you can't get aroused if you don't want. both of these "facts" are not true.

It's not myth, there ARE women who have and continue to rape men.

I know the common counter-argument is "Oh, this can't happen, because men are always more than willing to consent to any sexual act what so ever". But that's B.S., as is the argument of "having an erection implies you're giving full consent". It's much more complicated than that.

Just like most cases of female rape, most cases of male rape happen with somebody that the person already knows. The truth is BOTH men and women can wind up in really horrible relationships with a very manipulative and abusive person, who forces sex on them, possibly under threats of violence. But a man who tries to report that to the police or even his friends is typically laughed at.

Well, it depends on exactly what you mean. There certainly have been incidents of women raping men anally using phallic objects (pipes, sticks, etc.)
If you mean a woman raping a man by forcing him inside of her. I recall a case several years ago, but these types of cases are very hard to try. Because the man must be erect in order for this to happen, the defense will use this against the man. Essentially arguing, "You can't rape the willing."

Yes. I remember one case in the Netherlands where a young man was raped by 5 or 6 women. This happened at a bus stop. I don't remember the specifics, though.

There was a case of a woman raping 16 or 17 year old boys where I used to live. She was a sub teacher. She used blackmail to force them to have sex with her. She was very unattractive, that is probably why it was not in the national media. I know the details because I was friends with the prosecuting attorney.

I sure hope there are!

Seriously - what constitutes rape? A female prison guard forcing a man to go down on her - like in the HBO hit OZ?

I have also heard, (from my HEALTH teacher way back in high school), that there were women that forced truckers into a hotel at gunpoint or knifepoint, and forced them to go down on them... and I'm sure with enough "stimulation" the man could get excited, and then the woman could mount him.

There might be statistics on this in a book called The Hite Report. Any library should either have it or be able to get it. It has all kinds of sexual statistics.

Of course it is possible. Most of the things that happen in porno movies or letters to penthouse are possible. But do they happen in real life? That is the question.

I know when I was in school, one of my psychology textbooks mentioned true cases of men being raped by women. So, it has happened in real life. It probably doesn't happen that often, though.

What I wonder is how many woman have fetishes or fantasies about raping men. And how many men fantasize about being raped by women?

Lots of cases exist of statutory rape where women used boys under the legal age of consent. And many of these are in high schools - and becoming more public.

It may have been consensual, but in the eyes of the law the women were rapists and are now posted on public sex offender lists.

I don't know of any specific cases, but I've heard of it happening.

To assume that a woman has never raped a man is a little naive. A guy can be sexually stimulated against his will. Just because women are less prone to violence and crime, doesn't mean they don't do it. Women kill, women rape, women light fires, women injure, women abuse in various forms.
