You have to call 1(800)-468-897 and stay on the line for a long time until it tells you your fax number it will ask you some personal information

A computer fax is sent using your normal wired telephone. You can purchase a separate phone line from your telephone company but there is nothing special about it. If you only have one phone line you can easily send faxes but it is difficult to receive them since the computer will pick up all phone calls.

Plug a phone into your fax line and call yourself on a phone with caller ID. A fax line is just a telephone line that you attached a fax machine to.

If your PC's Dial up modem card is connected to your phone line, your Fax number is your phone number.
If your Fax is part of a multi-function printer, read the friendly manual (RTFM)!!!
