okay got the fishing pole but how do i fish? everytime i just stand there.

also anyone know how to woo muffy quickly?

to fish... equip the fishing rod (put the rod in the red square, which i'm sure you know) and go to a body of water. push the Y button to cast the line into the water.

now you wait, sometimes as much as two hours. there will be a noise and a ! mark over your head when there's a fish. at this point, you push Y, and the fish will be pulled right to your hands

1) There is a certain glitch in the game that will not let you catch anything until a certain point. For me, it is 5 PM every day. After that time I catch a lot of fish. The time (or "point") may change or stay the same. If you want to cheat the glitch, you can fish in the watering hole in your basement (I don't think you've gotten it yet).
