There have been several female presidents/world leaders. Unfortunately, they didn't do very well! I can think of three examples. In Britain, there was PM Thatcher, the "iron lady" who was heavily conservative and pro-military. The Falklands War and her policy against the communists were her trademark. The low classes hated her. Then there was Canada's PM Kim Campbell, who didn't last more than a few months before screwing up. She was so inept in public relations that during her elections, she said you shouldn't vote for her opponent because of his ugly lip. She was referring to famously wry-lipped Jean Chretien, who beat her and was elected as PM for the next 15 years! There was also Imelda Marcos, of the Philipines, who spent millions on her shoe fetish while her country was in economic crisis and nearly got herself lynched by the lower classes revolution.

Nevertheless, I think Hilary Clinton can become the first female president due to her abilities. What do you think?

so you know Imelda Marcos never was a president, well kinda since her husband was the dictator-president for more than 20 years in philippines. anyways, i think women should have a chance to be president, though there are some risk and consequences on being the 'first', but i still hope that the first female president won't skrew up a responsibility this big lol. :-)

with somewhat of success no longer a feminist one like i think you're judging via the fact on your information. in case your no longer I convey regret. yet to respond to your question . definite, This Obama win opens the door for that. the element is i desire they %. someone who's qualified for the region somewhat then in basic terms voting her in because she's a women human beings. for my section I disagree with a women human beings being president yet no longer for the reason maximum feminist ought to accuse me of. even if i imagine the possibilities of that taking position are a lot extra effectual now that Obama has received. I also accept as true with this different gentlman above that the business device ought to must be tanking for that to ensue.

Hilary is being taken seriously as a candidate. Even if she does not get elected (& I hope she doesn't) she has shown that America is more ready than ever to elect a female, given her politics are right. I just don't think Hilary's politicas are right.
