Summer Sanitarium Tour '00 in San Francisco's 3com park(now Monster Park). Metallica, Korn, Kid Rock, System of a Down, and Powerman 5000. It was their last tour before Jason Newsted left. My brother and I snuck down on the infield during Korn's set and at the end of it everybody went back for "refreshments" and to use the bathroom, so we rushed to the front of the stage. We were about 15' from the stage during the whole Metallica set. Everybody chanted encore at the end so they came out 3 different times to play more. When they played "One", they had pyrotechnics that were unbelievable. I've seen White Zombie and Korn in Arco and I've been to Ozzfest with Pantera and Godsmack and the Sanitarium Tour blew them out of the water.

definitely pearl jam. ive been to hundreds of shows( not all pj) but by far they have been the best shows ever. ive seen them 7 times. cant wait to go again. you already know pj is awesome so i dont need to tell you why. over any other band they have such a great setlist, like 30 songs. no other band plays that long. the most memorable of these shows was one in east troy wisconsin in oct a few years back. first off i had seen them the night before in detroit and had to drive home 3 hours that night only to wake up and have to drive 6 1/2 hrs to the next show. and it was soooooo cold. it was an outdoor show and only about 15 maybe 20 degrees out. you were pretty much numb, you had to buy hot cocoa just to hold it to stay warm. pj acknowledged it was the coldest show they ever played and ed said it was the coldest red wine he ever drank( you know how he always drink in concert), even so they still jammed for 3 hours. it was awesome. at one point they played the song black and everyone had a liter held up. there were prob. 30,000 people there at least all with liters outside it was cool to see. the concert rocked but then the drive home...yuck. totally worth it though.
