I went through my h.s. grad ceremony, because it seemed so important to everyone else.

I did not go through my university graduation ceremony because the pomp and circumstance was not important to me. (It still isn't important to me.) I didn't need a graduation to tell me that I'd worked hard.

My answer would not change if I didn't have any friends in town.

I went to my high school graduation and came to the conclusion... I should have slept in. It was long, boring, stuffy in the gym... and I did not like the costume. A long, frumpy black robe and a dumb hat with a tassel.

I did not go to my college graduation. I do not feel that I missed much.

I thought it was a waste of time, but I went because my mom and my grandma wanted to see me walk across the stage and get a diploma. Otherwise, I'd have stayed home and slept.

But you know, all these years later I'm glad to have the picture.

A graduation for college can never be missed- a once in a lifetime opportunity, but why is highschool a waste of time when it's also a once in a lifetime opportunity.

My answer will not differ.

i think graduation ceremonies are useless. waste of time in fact. you graduated. so what, save the money for something else instead of a ceremony.

I went to my high school graduation, and that's four hours of my life that I will never get back. The post-graduation party was much more memorable. So for college and grad school, I skipped graduation and planned events for afterwards.

Follow the condition without your heart be changed, with a non-changed heart and follow the condition.

You surely will meet new friends.

Don't miss it. Well, high school was no big deal, but college is a must.

Hillary Clinton spoke at my bachelors and Maya Anjelou (sp) for my masters. Well worth it.
