Huh? Sex was never a sport or form of entertainment for me, so NO, it's not like that.
Marriage isn't about having a piece of a.ss on hand at all times.
If you don't understand that then you're too immature to be married.

with the right man it is like disney world, something new every 30 min or so but with some yea I guess you could say it is like only having one channel... I guess that is why we should be a little bit more into thinking long term when we met some one and damn sure before we marry tham...... I feel alone with my hubby sitting right beside me, My first marriage was not like that.
The grass is not always greener on the other side either as some believe

it's only that way if you have any doubt a/b the person you chose to marry. marriage is a/b love, trust, respect, and good sex. if you put it all together that's a recipe for a long lasting marriage. w/o these key ingredients you will be thinking what's on another channel so to speak, to reuse your analogy. it's like that show you just can't get enough of b/c it's so good and you trip if you miss an episode. just stick w/ the recipe and you won't be wondering if you're in need of a cancellation. lol

Marriage is whatever you make it . I have been married to my husband for 11 years and everyday I fall in love with him even more. Sure there have been rocky times, but it just builds our relationship and makes it stronger. He is, without a doubt, my best friend. I don't worry about "changing the channel" because he still rocks my boat like nobody else EVER could. It comes from knowing each other so well. The sex just gets better and better!

No. If you're married to the right person it is nothing like that at all.

I enjoy that one channel and not having to worry about flipping it over and over again. I'm more comfortable with channel that I am know very well that checking out different channels everynight and wondering what I'm going to come up with.

Not if you really love the person. You have to know for sure you want to be with someone for the rest of your life. It is like having 1 channel, but would you like to have one channel (the best channel ever) or 1000 channels with nothing to watch??

ANY relationship is all about what you make it to be. You can choose to make things work, or you can find fault in anything and everything. People tend to think marriage has to be perfect all the time - no fights, lovey dovey kisses everyday... so they blame their unhappiness on the spouse because the fantasy isn't possible. If you go in to marriage with a negative attitude, you will create that negativity. ALL relationships are hard work, marriage just makes it harder to simply give up.

No not at all...its more like having a dvd of a movie you really love and u watch it over and over. Then one day when you think you are getting bored with it...you watch the behind the scenes...then next time you watch the bloppers...once you get through all the extras...you get the sequel.lol.Its familar but always with the chance for something new. I love it.

No. Not at all.

If you want a clever parallel, it's more like owning a car instead of borrowing all the time. You may not get to try out all the different models out there, but you never have to worry what is taking you home.

Actually, I feel that marriage is like having an infinite number of channels. Two can accomplish so much more than one every could. But, maybe I'm just lucky...
