From what i've seen, i can't really make a definite conclusion on that, so what do u think?

Atlanta was way over-rated/seeded. They are not a very good hockey club. Most under-rated may be TB or Calgary. These two have been all the way to the final recently and know what it takes to get there.

So far it is looking like the Tampa Bay Lightning were the most underrated, and the New Jersey Devils were the most overrated, but it really remains to be seen. A lot can change in the next few games. I definitely thought that the Rangers would not be as good as they have been, but I am not sure how much of it is them and how much is just Atlanta sucking. Ottawa has proven to be really underrated, too. But Tampa was rated #7, and it didn't sound like that many people thought they'd give Brodeur and company much trouble. Another southern team overlooked by the biased north!

Most overrated is the Devils, which I called out before the playoffs even began. They're not the team they once were, and I'm thus not suprised the Lightning are winning that series so far (though I wouldn't count NJ out just yet).
Most underrated is clearly the Rangers. Again, before the playoffs even started, I said they were the darkhorse in this playoffs. Nobody wants to give them the respect they deserve. At the top of their game (which is where they're playing at right now), they can absolutely beat anyone in this league. They've got every piece of the puzzle and they're really clicking.

I think the Rangers have to be the most underrated, very few picked them to advance, especially in here.
I'd have to go with Atlanta and their so-called top scorers as being the most overrated. Granted, they won a weak division, but with guys like Kovalchuk, Hossa and Tkachuk, they should have shown more.

over rated - definatley the thrashers. swept first round (including the 7-0 loss in game three). WTF
under rated - lightning. so many people counted them out before the first game. i think they will beat the devils in 7.
