only if that's all they think about (their appearance)...but if they take care of their skin and so forth, that alone doesn't mean they are shallow

Nope. I don't think there is anything wrong with a woman taking an interest in skincare. To be honest, some of it is pretty scientific and you need at least a few brain cells to be able to understand how specific skin care ingredients work and what effects they have on your skin health.
What I do find shallow and unintelligent are ignorant assumptions................

Some of them are.
But others may be deep people with brains who are just hoping to be beautiful and happy.

NO! I read post college level and excel in most thing school related. I just like being colorful and it's fun for my photoshoots and when I go out.

no...try no self esteem, wanting to be pretty, and in a line scolarships and in only 8th grade.......and im obsessed with makeup. im not shallow, and have beyon perfect grades...never the less, beautiful.
NEVER call someone who cares how they look shallow, if you do...you have to call people that DONT wear makeup..."careless"

i totally agree with the first comment. i'm a really smart person who also cares about her appearance and always has to be properly groomed and ready for anything.

if your main focus is how you look and appear..yeah!
but i like to take care of myself and yes look how i want to look, but no i have better things to worry about..

nope, i think its great they care about themselves and want to look their best instead of sitting on their asses complaining about how shallow people who use makeup are.

I think that people whom ask questions like this are shallow, as they can't accept what others enjoy.
