i confronted one of them and they asked why they did it and he said because i can. He said it was my own fault im bullied and laughed. He also said If im bullied i shouldnt let it get to me yet does it along with the others. The reason I asked him is because hes more quiet yet he is just as cruel. Why do you think he said this?

I wish I knew how to answer you better. When I was growing up I was bullied, I kept it a secret. I had money extorted from me, and I want to tell you, to this day I wish I had the courage you had to confront your problem.

I know why he said this he seeks his approval from others around him. In truth he is probably being bullied now or has been bullied in the past. He sees some inadequacy of himself in you, and he believes he must correct it. In doing so he subconsciously corrects himself.

He is the one that needs to come to grips with his inadequacy and confront his fear. I you can have a dialog with him I would probe this issue. If he is unreceptive, then you have to determine what you have to do to get his respect. If you have to stand up to him, do it, you may get hurt but in the long run others around him (that he looks to for approval) will respect you for standing up to him, and the allure of taunting you will wear off.

I hope this helps, May God bless you and Keep you.

PS: Prayer helps, just read about King David.

Bullies are jerks who get off on making other people feel bad. If you don't feel bad (or don't show any kind of emotional reaction) they will leave you alone. They love to pick on people who they can get a reaction from. If you don't believe in hitting back, just turn and walk away and laugh. He won't like that. If it gets serious, please tell an adult. My poor husband was bullied so badly in school for years, and never told anyone! He lived in fear for years. It's ridiculous now, because he's 6 foot 2 and 250 lbs and I can't imagine anyone bullying him!

:-)

Hang in there!!! Don't let anyone push you around!

he's secretly glad it's not him.
Bullies are usually bullied themselves, this is a proven fact. they feel not in controll at home or at school, and so pass it on.
It's not your fault, and theres nothing you can do yurself, once one starts it passes on. you need to tell a teacher, or a parent. failing that, laugh it off, be really nice and friendly, it confuses them.
you were brave to confront him, you are obviously a strong and intelligent person.
