Because Imus is white. Snoop is black and therefore has a free pass. I say this as a cracker who loves rap and hip hop and can't stand Imus too. Never thought I'd take that old jackhole's side on anything but I think it's total BS that everyone came down on Imus like they did. Meanwhile no one says anything about the rappers acting like all women are just b*tches and hos. I mean, if I were black I would be a lot more offended at my own people disrespecting my younger sisters than I would be about some old, well documented racist DJ popping off.

because racism works both ways, and some fail to recognize it. I can't tell you how many times i've been called a cracker and a chicken head and intimidated by black people, who I didn't even know, and didn't know me. And Imus is white and that automatically makes him racist if you he says anything and Snoop is black so if anything did or said something about him or what he says, they would be considered racist.

Because Snoop Dogg is an ex-felon, no account idiot who has already sold his soul to the devil. He doesn't even pretend to be any more than that.
Imus skated on pretensions of being an asset to the 'thinking man' and to hosting intellectuals and other luminaries on his show which was on major broadcast networks, both radio and TV.
Both of them should jump in the lake, in my most humble opinion.

because Imus has sponsors... People have to pay for advertising spots on his lil show... When he says something that belittles a whole race they have to pull sponsorship or run risk of losing customers......
