When you are dead, all activity in your brain stops. Because dreaming is a function of the brain, you would not be able to dream.

Long after you are dead, your body will disintegrate and then you will not have a brain at all.

No, here's the logic.

If you dream that your dead while you're alive, you die. But if you dream while you're dead that you're dead, you can't die again. So dreaming while your dead isn't possible. And if you dream that your alive while your dead, you don't become alive again (at least, no one has gone on record of that)

So the only logic is, if you can't dream your dead while your dead, and you can't dream that your alive while your dead, you can't dream while your dead.
