There are a lot of things to factor in when you are shooting a movie. There has to be a space sufficient to the directors vision, the lighting has to be perfect, the area has to be cleared by Mexico, could be dangerous.....

That place is NOT a movie set and there are a lot of rules to go in there plus the temperature inside is to hot, it´s 54°centigrades!!!.

dude 58 deg Celsius (I believe 37C=98F+/-) would f' up the cameras/film and be hell on the crew/cast.

also one can assume that it is far more valuable for its natural beauty than it would as a movie set (not counting all the above negatives)
