No dear , there isint such bank. I live in Lagos ,Nigeria. There are scams everywhere. Just because Nigeria is a third world (and AFRICAN) country, the West will make a mountain out of a molehill for every little bad thing coming from here. Someone who thinks he won a million dollar lottery from the internet and pays money to get it is just a greedy as the scammers themselves. Be careful.

No, there is no bank called ebony bank PLC in Nigeria.
There are 25 banks in Nigeria following the recent consolidation exercise and none of them has a name like dat.
I'm sure you can google out a list of the banks in Nigeria. Or you can just check the Central Bank of Nigeria's website...which u can also google.

Ebony Bank PLC, are you kidding of course not! Oh wait yeah thats where dead relatives with lots of money keep there accounts, also you can cash your nigerian lottery winnings there, and you might even run into a unicorn. Good Luck.... avoid any dealings with Nigeria... Its a scam sucker!

If you got an unsolicited email about how somebody at this bank is trying to get rid of $20 million and YOU are the ONE person deemed worthy to accept it, I have a bridge in Brooklyn I am trying to sell.

It's a scam, probably, and there is probably no such bank.

I wouldn't trust any "bank" in Nigeria. I think you're being scammed.

Sorry, I could find no listing a an "Ebony Bank plc" anywhere. Why are you asking? I hope you aren't thinking of sending any money to someplace by this name.

I'd do a little more research on the company if I were you. The link is an article from the BBC about 12 Nigerian banks that may have had to liquidate. Very unstable situation over there.
