If you only get the pop-ups when you're surfing the internet, install the Firefox web browser, which comes with a pretty good pop-up blocker.
If you get the pop-ups all the time, then you've probably been infected with spyware/malware. Install Lavasoft's Ad Aware to scan and clean your PC.

Constant pop ups are a sign of ADWARE! Try yahoo's pop up blocker with Norton's anti spy. If you still get them, then it's adware! Try to run the Yahoo anti spy program. If they persist, look into other software options! Adware will give you pop ups , regardless of your pop up blocker! Some types of adware can be very difficult to get rid of ! I remember having one that Norton's system works could not get rid of! I had to download and use a tool from Symnatec to get rid of it! It took about 45 minutes to clean my computer. Another good tool to get too is Microsoft's windows defender!

If they are from the internet, there are a million good pop-up blockers out there. Start by using Firefox and IE7 if you are using Windows.

Okey, this is really serious and really complicated. I'll go through the steps...
First, get a really really big hammer..
Then, go to your computer.
Then, lift the hammer
Then, yell at it
Then, beat up your computer
I bet those stinky little boxes wont keep popping up anymore!!!
Ha, thats how the pros do it!!!

1b) Run AVG Anti-Spyware Free
