Well I'm getting braces in about a week. I asked my bf what he would think of me after I get them, but I don't think he's giving me a honest answer.

Actually if your boyfriend is giving you a bogus answer he is not helping. Remember that when its all over and done with your gonna have an even more beautiful smile. Personally some girls look cute with them.......I bet your gonna be one of them...don't sweat it.........be cool

I asked one of my male friends, and apparently: "Braces are uber cute, but deadly when making out...@_@"
My other friends don't mind braces. They find them perfectly normal. Most people won't be grossed out by your braces unless you have food stuck in them or something.
Besides, braces are not permanent. They will eventually come off, and you'll have a perfect set of teeth. Just take good care of your teeth, and everything will be fine.
As for your boyfriend, you should just drop the subject. Sometimes boys get uncomfortable around that sort of stuff. Besides, what's there to think about braces? They're perfectly fine; I have them. They're even a fashion statement in some places. If you think he's not honest, you should talk to him, about the trust in your relationship, not braces.

wel i dont think braces really matter u might look a little diffrent but ur not gonna act any diffrent an you will still b the same on the inside! with braces or without you will still b u! an if ur bf cant understand tat then u should get another one!
plus braces r kinda cool! especially wen u get them in differnet colors like pink! And when u get them off u will look even better cuz ur teeth will b straight!

I love girls with braces, just something about it that kinda turns me on, i liked a girl with braces but once she got em tooken out, i kinda missed em

Heres something, I can't remember anyone that wore braces in high school after or before just get them and deal with it you'll be just fine.

Well, they'll be off in a while, thats the good news. If hes an good guy, he'll love you no matter WHAT. I'm sure it will not affect his overall feelings for you.

when i had braces I had guys tell me they were hot...and they were serious too.... i've also dated guys with braces...to be perfectly honest, it really is kinda hot...as long as they keep them clean!

Get clear braces or invisalign. seriously, unless your teeth are really messed up, there's no real point to them. They cost a lot of money and they turn your teeth black where the metal touches :( that happened to my friend and she had to spend hundreds of dollars on teeth-whitening stuff. But if you have to get them, clear braces or invisalign are basically invisible. good luck!

i had braces and they never turned my teeth black wen i got them taken off i dont think they look bad az long az there clean
