Attitude is more important than intelligence.

The mental picture you hold of yourself can either lead to great success or block the road to accomplishment.

Whether you think you can, or think you can't, you are right.

Someone giving you lots of attention can bestow self-esteem upon you without any of your personal involvement.

The final statement does not belong because all of the other statements have to do with how you view yourself, and the last one has to do with how others view you.

I believe that the last one does not belong. The other three are saying, in different ways, that my attitude, thinking or self-image are what impact my performance and results.

The last one says that what I feel about myself is the result of what OTHERS think of me - very different thinking.

The first 3 are stronger, "I am in control" statements and the last is more like "I am a victim" thinking.

Most psych's would say the first 3 are healthier for the person , too.

Hope this helps!

The last one. The 1st 3 are things you do, the last is something someone else does.

Whether you think you can, or think you cant, you are right.

Sometime you think you "can" when you cant and think you "cant" when you really can - so you are not "right."
