30s, In my 20s I was way too busy going to college, university then establishing a career and then making money. So, for me it would have been impossible in my 20s even if I wanted too. But I never really had the urge either and never envied the younger Mothers.

in the 30's, first its better to establish economically speaking and also first i would like to have a marriage last for a few years.

i say this because during your 20's you are still young and you have plenty of things to live for. when you are on your 30's you pretty much start living for a family, and that is when it is a good idea to start to raise children.

20s. My first was at 19 and second at 21 (both in wedlock) and I cant imagine doing it any later. I barely can keep up with them now, there is no way I would have the energy for that later! And I will still be young enough when they are teenagers that I wont have forgotten what its like to be a teenager. Ill be able to relate to them a little bit closer, Ill have energy to sponsor different school activities etc. I work with the youth group at my church and the kids with younger parents always seem to have closer relationships with them. Plus, my kids will be grown and off to college by the time I am 40... Ill still have my whole life ahead of me. My husbands grandfather just had a baby at 65. He will be 85 when his son is going off to school... If he makes it that far, Im sure he will be tired and unable to help him move etc. Plus the younger you are the less hard-headed and stuck in your ways you are... I love that I can grow with my kids, change and learn with them. I dont want to be the kind of parent that is too stuck in my ways and my "personality" that I cant adapt. I like being able to enjoy the music my kids listen too, and be the parent that all their friends want to hang out at our house because we arent old and grumpy.

Late 20's - early 30's

I want to finish law school and at least be a few yrs into my career, have paid back most of my college debt, and be stable before having a baby.

My son was born a month before I turned 30.

I am glad I waited! I wasn't too "old" to chase him around, but I was mature enough to enjoy showing my son the experiences in life!

We had some GREAT Saturdays having Abbot & Constello marithons with pizza!
