It varies because of how complex a system it is.
You see, first the little elf in my head whispers that I should probably check my email because I havn't in a while. However, I being the more educated of the two of us argue that I am sure I have no interesting emails and would be better using my time on myspace.
But that damn elf just doesn't like the be thought wrong. I guess he knows I'm smarter and it causes some kind of superiority complex or something. So he says "We have to check your email." over and over again until I become so frusterated that I yell at him to shut the **** up.
He then becomes agitated and kicks my brain until it causes the muscles in my fingers to spasm and hit the button that sends me to my email.
And then of course there are no interesting emails and he gets really mad that he was wrong.

Before my other account was removed, I would keep it open and check it quite often. I will only check this one once in a while because I never know if some Yahoo is going to try to get me deleted again.

If I'm at work I can check it up to 5 times but if I'm not at work I really never check it...

Depending if I'm waiting for something pretty important, I check it about 2 times 5 min. but if I'm not really waiting for anything I check it about twice a day. :)

OMG! Twice while getting ready in the morning, 3 times at school (I sneak on) and all nite when I get home!
