WOW, some of you honestly believe that when Rove said "We're an empire.." he's talking about you and me too!!! LMAO!!!!
When he said “We’re an empire”, he meant We, and is We who rule and YOU "ALL of you" as in the masses (that would be us).
Also, you don't "create" the truth. The truth just IS. Therefore, when he said that he "creates reality", he meant he creates LIES!!
So basically, he is saying that he and the other self proclaimed rulers of the universe are lying to us but we wont figure it out until well into the future when we're surrounded by even more lies.
Rove is a pompous little prick who feels he that he is so clever and superior to the masses that he can not only lie to us, he can tell us he's lying and STILL get away with it. And guess what, he has gotten away with it, but not for too much longer!!!!

Well, he has a valid point. The neocon hawks actually have strong beliefs (even if we might think they are misled and wrong and unjust) and they act on their beliefs. They have no opposition to stop them at all since the Dems are spineless, the other opposition groups or political parties have no power or say in the legislative process, the media sucks at investigative reporting, and the UN is powerless to fight for justice and international laws... instead we all (ie., the whole world) watch them "act" and create the realities in the world (Afghanistan, Iraq, Guantanamo, Abu Ghraib, USA Patriot Act, Homeland Security dept, Illegal wire taps, Rewriting of the Constitution, etc.) and all we are left with is discussing their actions but unable to respond in any meaningful way or stopping them.
Our only hope is the knowledge of what eventually happens to arrogant and corrupt empires and emperors with no cloths...

Oh come on, don't you know there are degrees to these things? Bristol Palin is just a little bit pregnant in the same way my grandmother is just a little bit dead. I mean, it's only been five or six months. You can't claim she's really, really dead at this point. Sheesh, you have to put it in perspective! Besides, Bristol Palin is part of the "Republican family". Republicans are very forgiving... of themselves. Perspective, Smarty. It's all a matter of perspective.

He was probably talking about how people super analyze the past when there are so many important things happening right now that people should be paying attention to.
We are an empire, and when we do things, it changes the world. You cant sit back and concentrate on the past when you should be concentrating on the importance of the present.

the term "empire" suggests that we are now the worlds lone super power and we thus create the future as we go. It is quite simple, but will be misconstrued by those with "hate" towards Rove's beliefs.
