i have charter high speed internet service but can`t connect to yahoo

There r many factors that can block a site...
1) Do u use a router?
2) Check the firewall settings
3) Some firewalls like zone alarm will block the site
4) If u have a router then call the router comapny's customer support for help. U need to forward the ports.
If u have a linksys router then I can help u with that..

I could use a little more information. Can you connect to other websites? If you cannot, make sure that your modem is operating correctly. If you can connect to other websites, then it is possible that yahoo's servers are down, although that would be very unlikely as I have yet to see yahoo's servers go down.

i had a problem with this, if you disabled a antivirus program or a program of some sort it could be the problem.
