Get in touch with Ebay IMMEDIATELY.

We had the same thing happen and the seller lied repeatedly. It took PayPal and our credit card company to get our money back.

If you paid via PayPal, contact them immediately as well as the credit card company or bank that the funds were taken from. If you paid using just a credit card, contact them immediately.

I find that ebay is horrible at responding to these types of issues. You have to stay on top of them and not give up. When you email ebay, give them a chance to respond - NOT A CANNED RESPONSE, but a real response that addresses your issue. If after three business days, send them another email and cc your state's Attorney General.

Unless more people push back on ebay, ebay will continue to allow this type of fraud to proliferate.

This can happen for a number of reasons, log on to your ebay and go to the help section and request sellers information, this will give you a phone number to call the seller if one is on file with ebay. Also file a claim with ebay and paypal. It will come up as a dispute requesting the seller respond in a set time. I have got my money back when the seller did not respond.
Best of luck to you,

How long did you wait to get a reply? Did you check their feedback score before you bid? Always check to see if the person has had any bad reviews! If they have a great feedback, maybe their computer is down? Things happen, like viruses. Check them out before you leave feedback.

Keep trying to contact them, contact EBAY, give them a horrible rating. Do not do business with them ever again.

give him a bad review, report him to e-bay, and if you paid via pay-pal, they can also help.
