Have sex at least every other day, whether you feel like it or not.
Use an ovulation predictor kit, and have sex every day while it shows you're ovulating.
Don't let your mate drink alcohol while ttc.
After sex, do not move.....lay flat on your back, preferable with a pillow under your butt.
Make sure your vagina is not too dry.....a well-lubricated vagina is easier for sperm to swim up.
Ask your mate not to withdraw immediately after, ....the longer he stays in, the more sperm get into you!
These things seemed to work well for me. (obviously)

First, you want to learn your cycle so you know when the best time to get pregnant is. You ovulate approx. 14 days BEFORE your period. If you aren't able to pinpoint your ovulation, buy some ovulation kits. You can get them at any pharmacy. They work really well. You can also buy them at testsforless.com Also, don't smoke. It has been known to decrease fertility. Do some exercise. Nothing too strenuous, but maybe some walks. I'ver read and learned from experience, the best time to have sex is one day before ovulation. Since you don't know exactly when you're going to ovulate, it's hard to always get it right, but have sex every other day. If you wait 24 hours between intercourse, it gives the sperm a chance to build up again. That will increase your chances. Then there's the myth that after having sex you should put your legs up. I don't know if it's true or not, but it's worth a shot. Put them up for about 10 minutes. Good luck.

There is a great book called Taking Charge of Your Fertility or their website www.tcoyf.com that teaches you all about what to look for (temperature and cervical fluid) to know when you're ovulating and such. You should look at it!

I got pregnant the first month of trying. There is a faq section on the site that is helpful, but the book explains how to go about it.

It basically involves taking your temperature every morning BEFORE getting out of bed with a basal thermometer (it registers to the exact 10th of a degree rather than 2 tenths of a degree). You chart your temp every day. Your temperature either drops or spikes a couple of days before ovulation (gotta read up on that...lol).

You also chart your cervical fluid and cervical position to help you know when you're most fertile. The most fertile type of cervical fluid is like eggwhite consistency.

Okay, read up and good luck!

Have sex every other day after you get off your period for a month. This avoids having to pin point your ovulation day. After sex lay in bed for atleast 20 mins. Try putting a pillow under your hips to elevate your bottom so stuff doesn't leak out. Also make him get on top b4 he gets off. I don't know which thing worked for me, but something did the trick. I am 18 weeks preggers. Good Luck

Well first of all, I've observed that trying to record, keep track, and planning out by your ovulation just makes the process slower.
I got pregnant 2 months after my boyfriend moved in with me and we were having sex every day. Really all I can tell you is to just go for it as much as you possibly can - eventually it will happen.

Use preseed, sperm friendly lubricant found at www.preseed.com right before ovulation. Ovulation can be detected by charting your temperatures, cervical height, opening and softness as well as observing cervical mucous. Clear, slippery mucous is the most fertile and is an indication of impending ovulation. If you don't want to do any of that, you can use an Ovulation predictor kit.

I got pregnant as soon as I gave up trying. Also it depends on how long and if you took birth control. It can take up to a year to get preg after taking the pill. But number 1 is relax.

Take Robitussin(the kind that breaks up mucus) the day you start your period and stop taking it 14 days latter.Follow the instructions and dosage on the bottle.Robitussin thins out your cervical mucus and allows sperm to live longer and swim easier to the egg. Some women have cervical mucus that is to thick for sperm to swim through , and therefore, the sperm can't reach the egg.I tried to conceive for two years without using Robitussin. My first cycle using Robitussin, I conceived.
